Rossburn Village Court of Revision approves 1981 assessment
The Village of Rossburn held a Court of Revision on October 9 1980 to review the 1981 General and Business Assessment Rolls. Three complaints were resolved with two sustaining building assessments and one reduction of 100 for removal of a building. The council adopted the revised rolls and adjourned to regular business.

A F M opens Rossburn office for western Manitoba
The Alcoholism Foundation of Manitoba opens an office on the ground floor of the Hill Top building on Railway Street Rossburn to serve Erickson Russell Binscarth St. Lazare Birtle Shoal Lake and Strathclair areas. Peter Kreshewski is named Alcohol Treatment Worker for these regions. He is a Rossburn resident with four decades in the area and eight years of voluntary work in the alcohol and drug field.
