Lawrence Parabee of Angusville entered a Polled Shorthorn heifer in the 7th Annual Manitoba Saskatchewan Polled Shorthorn Sale at Brandon. Shown in the youngest class, the animal won first prize and the Grand Championship of the Female Classes. The heifer was sold to Mr Bateman of Craven Sask.

Ressburn Lions Club Hosts District Leaders At Buffet Supper
Last Thursday the Ressburn Lions Club held its monthly buffet supper with District Governor Erling Wyland of Barns ville Minnesota and Deputy District Governor Gunnar Johnson of Shoal Lake in attendance. Three new members were introduced and will be inducted at the club’s anniversary gathering in November.
