The Rossburn village council met September 30 1975 in a special session. Mayor Louis Kurchaba presided with Councillors Dros coski Lee and Plaister present. Slow was absent. The council approved Parkland Builders Contract A for floor replacement at the former Telephone Office Building on Mountain Road and approved Betty Copping as part time assistant starting September 8 1975 or soon after.

Rain Delays Harvesting After Brief Warm Spell

RC I opened the volleyball season with wins in an exhibition at Russell against Major Pratt Collegiate and Roblin. The girls beat Major Pratt 2-1 and swept Roblin 3-0. The boys beat Major Pratt 3-0 and rebounded to win 2-1 against Roblin. Next action is October 10 at the Russell Reef and Bailey tournament where both teams defend titles.
