Marquette Health Board Names Radiology Director
The Marquette Regional Health Authority approved Dr Geoff Kindle as Medical Director for Radiology following a Medical Advisory Committee recommendation. The board granted active staff privileges to Dr Chris Breman Dr Hein Peters Dr Rob Poettcker and Dr Henrik Schoeman and locum privileges to Dr Christine Wiens. They ratified the MGEA collective bargaining agreement for 1999 2003 and discussed ethics committee options. A report on the Manitoba Summer Institute and Population Health Promotion was presented. The 1999 2000 annual report and audited financial statements were approved for submission to Manitoba Health. Manitoba Health requests baseline adjustments by Oct 13. EL 4 financial condition monitoring through July 31 was approved along with regional capital project status. Neepawa Personal Care Home timelines and land purchase options were outlined. A Oct 6 meeting with Winnipeg RHA and Manitoba Health will determine Russell dialysis station numbers. Self monitoring reports GP 10 and GP 11 were completed. The CEO reported on regional opening ceremonies and budget baseline work. Ken Hermiston gave a verbal update on the Council of Chairs meeting held Sept 14.
