MEARS Mr and Mrs Roy tiasiuk made a business trip to Russell last week. Mr and Mrs Charles Pawluk, Alex Pawluk and Miss Olive Michalchuk were visitors at Brandon for a few days last week. Messrs Bill and John Kerway and Bill Kuch of Grandview were weekend visitors at the home of Mr Steve Baydock. A farewell party was held for Mr and Mrs Alex Pawluk on Wednesday November 22 at their home. They were presented with a sum of money donated by all those present. Mr and Mrs Pawluk will be leaving for Windsor Ontario in the Oear.

Co-Operative Store For Rossburn Organized

Fifty five cooperators met in the new Legion Hall to form a Rossburn Co operative store. Elected directors include Bert Mitchell John Cormack Joe Huston Wm Armstrong BF Parsons Gordon Taylor and Walter Snider. Shares cost 10 with up to five per member. Loan units at 25 each, 3 percent annual interest on loans, dividends on purchases, no interest on share capital.
