Rossburn council met November 17 1975 at 10 am in council chambers. Reeve John Mitchell presided with five councillors present. Rossburn Senior girls and boys captured Zone X volleyball trophies in Hamiota on Friday after round robin playoffs. Girls beat Birtle and Major Pratt, edged Hamiota in final 2 games to take eighth straight title. boys defeated Shoal Lake in final after beating Elphinstone and Hamiota in earlier sets. RCI Grade IX boys placed second at Major Pratt Junior High Tournament in Russell.
