Clean Environment Order for Rossburn Lagoon Modernization
Manitoba Clean Environment Commission orders Rossburn to replace its inadequate sewage lagoon with a new expanded facility. Hearing held in Rossburn October 20 1975 noted capacity issues. Engineering report and details of the proposed system due by April 30 1976 with operation by January 1 1977 to reduce stagnation and prevent overflows.

Special Meeting on Local Minor Sports Consolidation

Rossburn Retail Holiday Hours Schedule
Rossburn stores release a holiday schedule detailing daily hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with special openings on December 20 and 22 and 23 and 24 and 27 and year end closures on December 25 26 29 31 and January 1 2 and January 7. From January 8 the stores return to 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Rossburn Boys Capture Regional Volleyball Finalists Spot
At the Asperniboine North Regional tournament in Hamiota R C I and Rossburn fields produced both boys and girls teams advancing. The Rossburn girls failed to reach Winnipeg while the Rossburn boys won their round robin and defeated Elphinstone and Shoal Lake before edging Erickson 15-3 15-7 in two straight games to secure a trip to the Small Schools Provincial Finals in Winnipeg on December 13 at Red River Community College.

The Rossburn Lions Club celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with a banquet, program, and dance. New and transferring members were welcomed, with awards for attendance and service, and leaders noted a year of active community projects totaling 5 342.82. Special guests and dignitaries attended as members received chevrons and plaques. dancing followed to the Neepawa Variatones.
