Rossburn Lions Club marks 20 years of service in town
The Rossburn Lions Club celebrated its 20th anniversary on Saturday November 15 with 85 Lions and guests at the Rossburn Town Hall. District leaders praised the club and a $2132 donation from the Lions Telethon funded a fetal heart monitor and a youth crib for Rossburn Hospital.

Pelly Trail trustees begin first meeting and oath
The Pelly Trail School Division held its inaugural meeting on November 3 1980 at 10 00 a m. Oaths of office were taken by five trustees from wards 2 3 4 6 and 8. Committees were formed with chairpersons announced and bylaws set for officer appointments remuneration and meeting schedules. The next meeting was scheduled for November 24 at 7 30 p m.

New Office Manager Named for The Rossburn Review
The Rossburn Review will have a new Office Manager as Helen Aylwin and her husband Harry depart for Brandon. Darrell Nesbitt of Shoal Lake, aged 20, will assume duties on Monday December 1 at the Rossburn office beside Sears after previously working part time at the Shoal Lake Star.
