Mobile Planetarium Visits Rossburn Students
A Winnipeg based Mobile Planetarium from the Museum of Man and Nature toured Rossburn Elementary School Manitoba. Students crawled into a tunnel to view the night sky guided by Ryan Diduck. Younger pupils learned about the Big Dipper North Star and Moon phases while older pupils explored planets and their features.

Roblin Budget Talks With Finance Minister Planned

Illegal Turns on Main Street Highlight RCMP Concerns
Rossburn council met to discuss matters including a monthly policing report by Sgt. Sutherland focusing on illegal right or left turns across the double line on Main Street. The administrator was asked to inform RCMP that such turns are dangerous and appropriate charges under the Highway Traffic Act should be laid. The hall caretaker position will be re-tendered to start January 1, 1997.
