Manitoba to launch $2 million employment action program

Manitoba announces a $2 million Employment Action program running January 17 to June 5 1983 to create about 750 jobs for Winnipeg and southern Manitoba. wage support 4.80 per hour plus up to 10 percent benefits, 20 consecutive weeks, 30 hours per week, open to non profits, schools, hospitals, farms, and eligible private employers with referrals from Canada Employment and Immigration Centre.
