Drive-In theatre planned for Shoal Lake area
Evans Parobec of Russell area begins construction of a Drive-In Theatre to serve Shoal Lake. Ground levelled, concrete work underway just north of town on No 21 highway. 12.6 acres bought from John Drozda. Planned 32 by 36 foot building with car radio sound system, first of its kind in Manitoba. Theatre to open in spring, five to seven evenings weekly.
