Rural Council Minutes From Ressburn Meet
The Rural Municipality of Ressburn held a council meeting on Saturday November 3 with Reeve John Ruszytylo and councillors Wm Armstrong Wm Hyra Alex Sawcchuk and Mike Twerdochuk present. Motions approved included a $100 funeral grant for Mrs Josifia Bereza and a tax adjustment for Benjamin Cormack. The council authorized a $25 bond sale and approved by law 698 and 699 related to bonds nominations and council elections. Delegates were named for Municipal Union convention. meeting adjourned for December 3.

Remembrance Day Memorial Service in Rossburn
A full town hall hosted the Rossburn Canadian Legion memorial service with Sargent Major Harris in command. Rev. A C Mack gave the address, Rev. Four girls placed poppies as each name was read, with officials from the village and municipality representing the Legion.

A protest meeting was held at Municipal Hall on November 11 to oppose compulsory repatriation of war refugees from territories controlled by British American and French forces into Soviet hands. The Cana lan kr Relief Committee in Winnipeg oversaw the fundraiser, raising 2200 for refugee relief. A three member Local relief committee OM. Yarneay G- Chopp and M ushka was formed to continue donations with A Varmey as chairman and M Glushka as secretary. Resolutions were passed to be reported next issue.
