Passengers Critically Injured In Head-On Collision North Of Oakburn
Two cars collided head on two miles north of Oakburn last Thursday evening injuring eight occupants in the northbound Chevrolet. Pete Dmytrekev of Marco drove the southbound old model car and was critically hurt, taken to Shoal Lake Hospital. Peter Drosdoski of Shoal Lake, formerly of Rossburn, led the eight in the other car and is hospitalized in Winnipeg with a shattered knee cap and facial injuries. Mrs Drosdoski, Nita Baldrow, Sonjia Drosdoski, Anne Wladyka, Nellie Drozda and Bill Gupka sustained varying hurts. Gupka and Drozda married Tuesday. both cars were wrecked beyond repair.

Guest speaker D A Brown of the Dominion Experimental Farm Brandon awarded prizes and the event concluded with a box social and dance.
