Remembrance Day Service Honors Fallen World War Heroes
Veterans from World Wars gathered for a Remembrance Day service led by Rev. Mack and Rev. Nixon. The event featured singing of O Canada and Onward Christian Soldiers, scripture by Rev. Nixon, a Roll Call, Last Post, two minutes of silence, Reveille, and wreaths at the monument honoring twelve WWI and thirteen WW II fallen.

A Forde spoke at the Poultry Pool meeting at Solsgirth. Dances are planned by Byrd school on November 19 and the Boys and Girls Club with Dune's Orchestra on November 23.

Pretty wedding in Angusville for Mazurhewicz Staneluk union
Gladys Mazurhewicz and Mike Staneluk wed at the Greek Catholic church in Angusville on October 23. Rev. Roman Zabersky officiated as guests watched a satin gown, pearl necklace, and tea rose bouquets. A dinner for 75 followed, then a Ukrainian hall reception. The couple plans a honeymoon in Winnipeg and later gifts were presented, including a miniature red barn at a shower honoring the bride-elect.
