Shoal Lake Airports Receives 772630 Federal Airstrip Funds
MP Brian White on behalf of Transport Minister Doug Lewis announces a 772630 federal grant to build a 1000 by 23 meter paved airstrip with taxiway and apron at Shoal Lake. The Rural Municipality and Village of Shoal Lake will operate it as a public airport, with day and night operation under visual flight rules. Transport Canada previously funded a feasibility study and development plan.
