Village Rossburn council denies extension of absence for assistant clerk
The May 13 meeting concluded with denial of extending the assistant clerk's leave of absence from six months to eight or ten months, effective September 1, 1986. Councillors attended the Area A & B meeting in Dauphin on May 21. expenses were covered. The 1985 Rossburn Regional Library report was accepted and funding under Challenge 86 approved for one student. By-Law 86-707 to repeal outdated appointment provisions received readings. Funding and maintenance plans, arena profits, drainage issues, and waterline adjustments were discussed alongside staff time off and upcoming tax sale details.
