Rossburn plans a year of major development with new and expanded businesses. A curling rink renovation and a 100 by 170 foot skating facility are eyed, plus tall plans for a two storey drug store, bowling alley, barber shop and confectionery, and a John Deere agency building. Local wood shop, carpentry and garage upgrades accompany the town’s modernization push.

Mrs. Andrew Nychyk of Seech Man died in Rossburn hospital on Sunday May 16 at age 54 after six days in care. She was born in Husiatyn Ukraine in 1894 and came to Canada in 1905. Survived by husband two daughters Phyllis Maximech Emily and Jerry at home two sisters Martha Peech and Anna Matiashyn. Funeral May 18 at Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church with Rev. Fornalchuk officiating.
