The Rural Council met in Rossburn on May 9 1961 with Reeve M J Sotas and councillors Morley Brown William Hyra Mike Pawluk and Fred Posmituck present Minutes from the previous meetings were read and adopted A financial report for April 30 1961 was approved The council agreed to hire John McKietiuk as road construction foreman for the 1961 season at 1.00 per hour and approved payment to Dan Buternows ky of 70.00 for maintenance of John Dmyterio from January 1 May 31 1961 including clothing purchases It was agreed to advertise for tenders to install an oil furnace in the Municipal Office A letter to F Melnyk Construction re gravelling was authorized A list of lands liable for Tax Sale was to be prepared for the next meeting Bills totaling 21071 45 were passed The council adjourned to meet on June 13 1961 at 1 pm.
