Vanguard offers NISA accounts to Manitoba farming members
Manitoba credit unions begin offering NISA accounts to farming members from May 3. Producers may transfer Net Income Stabilization Fund No. 1 accounts from the federal Consolidated Revenue Fund to local institutions. Credit Union Central of Manitoba CEO Mal Anderson says the move keeps funds in the community and could improve member returns over time.

Autopac time payment notices go to Manitoba drivers
Manitoba drivers on the Autopac time payment plan will receive second installment notices by mail. About 235000 notices began May 3 for payments due May 31, with 290000 motorists choosing time payment this year. A 14 dollar admin fee applies. late fees of 20 dollars may be charged.
