Manitoba Autopac time payment plan expands with third installment
MPIC says nearly 210 000 Manitoba vehicle owners with Autopac renewals for 1989 will receive second installment notices starting May 3. About 30 000 more time payments with later due dates will be mailed in coming months. A $20 late payment fee applies to second or third payments not made by the due dates.

Board accepts resignation of local doctors
At the Rossburn District Health Centre board meeting the board accepts the notice of termination of Drs. Annabel and Frank Watheuer as family physicians at Rossburn Medical Centre. Effective September 1, 1989 after one year of service. The board will advertise extensively for two new physicians including overseas postings to the United Kingdom and South Africa. Availability of physicians in Canada is limited and migrant restrictions hinder recruitment.

Primrose School District 109 Drama Club Scene
The R C 1 Drama Club presented Primrose School District 109 last Saturday at Community Hall. Wanda Salyn portrayed Rose Bronowski, Melanie Prosak played Ada Fedoruk, and Bonnie Gensiorek acted Olga Yourchek among 11 actors with others handling makeup lighting props and music. John Skinner directed the production and was praised for his efforts.

4-H Members Lead Provincewide Highway Cleanup
Nearly 3,000 Manitoba 4-H members from 180 clubs joined the annual province wide cleanup on April 29. They were supervised by highways staff and volunteers with RCMP traffic control. The province pays 15 per kilometre up to 35000. in 1988, 3298 members collected about 15000 bags of garbage.
