Steve Boychuk 62 Buried At Rossburn
Funeral services for Steve Boychuk were held in Rossburn with burial at the Rossburn Greek Catholic cemetery. The 62 year old died suddenly last Wednesday after noon while lifting a bundle of shingles in a lumber yard. He was born in New Ukraine in 1886 and moved to the Heal Lack district in 1906 before settling in Rossburn. Survived by wife, one son and three daughters.

Very Successful Social Evening Held
The Birthday Cake Social sponsored by the Junior Ladies Aid drew over 700 attendees. Prize winners were Mrs. N. Major and John Coughen for Crokinole. A cafeteria lunch and birthday cake closed the event with a progressive auction for leftovers. Donations came from those unable to attend.
