Canada Post says service improving under Warren drive
R Michael Warren President and CEO of Canada Post told the Advertising and Sales Club of Toronto that performance surveys show a reversal of the slide to poor service. He cited 92.3 percent on time local Toronto deliveries, up from 90.8, and outlined plans for resident quality control teams in 29 plants and door to door service expansion to 220,000 more addresses by March 1984. He pledged a more business like approach within a social mandate and projected a deficit drop from near 1 billion to under 400 million as self sufficiency grows.
