Schools of Choice program a Manitoba success
Manitoba reports 16 800 students used the Schools of Choice in its first year with 13 280 staying within home divisions and 3 530 crossing into other divisions. Birdtail River saw 28 in and 10 out while Pelly Trail had seven in and 25 out. Education Minister Linda McIntosh says the program provides educational options and shows parental demand for choice across the province.
