Uruski Announces MACC Interest Rate Cut in Manitoba

Manitoba Agriculture Minister Bill Uruski unveils a plan to cut Manitoba Agricultural Credit Corporation rates to eight percent for the current year, costing six million dollars and benefiting up to 4,000 farmers, especially younger producers. Winter Festival at Rossburn Lions Club draws big crowd

Rossburn Lions Club hosted the Winter Festival at Rossman Lake on Sunday March 10 with many events and a 2:00 PM jet flyover from a Canadian Armed Forces aircraft based in Westwinn Manitoba. Festival queen Sharon Chuhai crowned. winners include Poker Derby riders Chris Stebeleski Glen Siegersma Kevin Stebeleski and Fish Derby winners Walter Sokolan Stan Luhowy Melvin Luhowy.
