Last week Hie Pidlubny and Ri Tenasychuk traveled to Winnipes for a Birdtail meeting held at Mrs. Joiner residence. Next gathering will be at Mr John Coughtan with Mr E McLean visiting Elphinstone. Miss Agnes Andrew spent the week in Rossburn. A son Gordon Wayne Hamiften was born at Rossburn Hospital to Mr and Mrs Clifford Hamiften.
Johan Chuchmuch visited his son in Sandy Lake for a few days. A March 6 card party by Angusville high school raised over 5 30 for the memorial rink. A whist drive is planned for March 13 with proceeds for the rink. United Church Ladies Aid hosts a St Patrick Social March 18 with lunch. Matt Chuchmuch returned from Winnipeg after attending the Poultry Convention as a local delegate. Mrs Sara Angus left for Russell after two weeks in Angusville.
Mr and Mrs Zubra of Fort William hosted visitors to the Karastewich home last week. Mrs Boklaschuk stayed in Winnipt for several days. Mrs Peden of Reeemurn visited the Menzies home with granddaughter Sandra Peden. Mrs Wee Butka remains in St Josephs hospital in Winnipes for recovery. Ladies Aid of Oakburn United Church met at Al Martins with plans for a future bazaar and a lunch. Next meeting set for Mrs George Man’s home.
