Sewing Sisters Plan Rally Day Activities and Bonspiel Showing
The Rossburn Sewing Sisters held their sixth meeting on March 3 selecting committees for a hayride or toboggan party and banners for Rally Day. On March 14 two rinks will compete at the Strathclair Annual 4H Bonspiel and a $20 department award supported year work. Demonstrations and sewing projects advance with a pot luck supper planned for the Junior Demonstration night. Died Stanley Chuba, 36, of Dawson Creek B C, Saturday afternoon. Funeral service to be held at Elphinstone Roman Catholic Church with time to be announced.

Ukr Catholic Women’s League Events in Rossburn
The Ukr Catholic Women’s League hosts a Ham Bingo on March 13 at 8 pm in the Parish Hall with 20 games and 75 cent admission. A record hop is set for March 14 from 8 pm to midnight, parish hall admission 25 cents. A March 20 variety concert and fashion show at the Town Hall, 8 pm, features U C W Rossburn United Church with 12 and under 25 cents and coffee 25 cents. A Spring Tea and Bazaar is planned for March 21 in the Town Hall basement 2–5 pm and 7 pm events with home baking and handcrafts.

Obituary of Mrs Paul Ternovetsky in Rossburn
Mrs Paul Ternovetsky aged 78 died at Shoal Lake hospital on February 18. Born in the Ukraine she came to Canada in 1912 settling in Rossburn district where she lived until death. Survived by six sons George John Matt Bill Mike Alex all of Rossburn and two daughters Anne Currie Prince George B C and Mrs Steve Lillian Baydak Rossburn. Nine grandchildren. Funeral service conducted in Ukr Greek Orthodox Church Glen Elmo with Rev J Melnyk officiating. Interment Glen Elmo Cemetery. Rae's Funeral Home handled arrangements.
