Air Gunner Keith Hamilton cannot yet visit home.

A funeral was held for infant boy born at Russell Hospital on February 26 and who died March 5. A fire at Mr. Holowaty's home on March 6 damaged bed clothes and the clothes closet. Pete Antonio found smoke on returning from school and called neighbor Mr. Kalynuk who, with Mrs. Kalynuk, extinguished the blaze. The Holowatys were away at the time.
A daughter was born on Wednesday February 18 at Mears to Mr and Mrs Dano Gurniak.
