Magnowski Rink Tops First Event at Rossburn Bonspiel
The Rossburn Collegiate Annual Bonspiel held March 6 featured nine rinks with entrants from Rossburn Major Pratt of Russell and Elphinstone Collegiate. Magnowski rink from Major Pratt won the first event defeating Don Heindle of Rossburn. prizes included trophies, mugs, ashtrays, and era-specific donations. The second event saw Ken Ament’s RC I rink triumph over Ron Hedley of Rossburn with trophies. other placings included Randy Woycheshin RC L, Karen Lucyshen Elphinstone, and Dennis Kaskin in last.

The Cardale team will play their postponed NCHL hockey game against Rossburn at Rossburn Arena on Saturday March 13 at 8 30 p m Admission is free for elementary students with a parent 50 cent for high school students and one dollar for adults.
