Botulism at Whitewater Lake raises bird death concerns
A survey by District Supervisor Larry Ross notes another botulism outbreak at Whitewater Lake. About 750 birds were recovered this spring and likely half died this year, with the rest dying last fall. Natural Resources Environment Canada and Ducks Unlimited are on site to monitor and remove carcasses to stop spread.
