Manitoba funded initiative in Neepawa aims to place seven mentally challenged adults in paying positions. Six have been placed so far in local eateries and a lumber yard, with a sidewalk food vending operation running June through August.

The R D H C Auxiliary held its windup and annual meeting at the Rossman Lake Golf Clubhouse with 14 active and 10 associate members present. New executive includes Diane Lawless president Zelma Salyn vice president Ollie Mackedenski secretary and Glenda Sidoryk treasurer.
The Rossburn Lions Club reports over 900 dollars raised toward a 1500 dollar local goal in a charity drive. Donors missed in door calls can leave donations at local Lions boxes and request receipts by note.
