Rossburn Celebrates Year of the Family 1994
The Rossburn community marked the Year of the Family on Fathers Day 1994 with a wide array of activities. Shirley Kalyniuk opened the event with Reeve Sitko, the Scouting Movement raised the flag with Bev Roszell singing O Canada, and families joined in games, bingo, races, face painting, and a fish pond. Volunteers from the Lions Club, United Church, Ukrainian groups, 4 H, Roman Catholic League, and area clergy organized and supported a pot luck supper and an interdenominational service.
