Rural Municipality Rossburn June meeting notes
The Rural Municipality of Rossburn council met June 10 in the Council Chambers. Reeve John Mitchell and five councillors were present. The minutes, May last meeting financial report for May 31 1968 was adopted. Fred Posmi tuck appointed constable for Rossman Lake Resort. Application to Mines and Natural Resources to fund predator control with a $10 fee if called. Payment of 65.40 to Manitoba for services and tax statements 1968. Bills totaling 3 243.12 approved. Next meeting set for July 9 1968 at 1 pm.

Local Track Meet Winners Named at Rossburn Event
Rossburn Junior High students placing first or second at the Rossburn track meet traveled to Russell on Thursday May 27. Elphinstone received the trophy and Rossburn earned four crests for Tony Ryshytyle Norma Andrew Rodney Herchak and Terry Kreshewski. Softball saw girls win 15 4 over Elphinstone while boys lost 6 1.
