Funeral Rites for Alex Kolacznski Held in Russell
Funeral service was held Saturday morning May 31 at St Joseph's church for Alex Kolacznski who died May 28 at age 64. Officiating was Father Larrabee with pallbearers George Mintenko Matt Olvniuk Bill Dawidowski Walter Todoruk Harry Zozuk and Carl Presener. Interment followed at Russell cemetery. He was born in Poland in 1894 came to Canada in 1908 and settled in Kelloe Rossburn and Russell. He married Margaret Babchuk in 1920 and is survived by his widow. three daughters Mrs Marion Casterhuis Mrs Florence Ciemny and Mrs Evelyn Simcoe. three sons Ronald Reginald and Jack. one brother Nick. and eight grandchildren.

The Rossburn Rural Municipality held its June meeting with reeve and all councillors present.
