Chamber Donates to Agri-Rec Complex Fund
Chamber of Commerce leaders Kevin Bray and Garry Sabeski presented Avis Stitt, chair of the Rossburn and District Agri-Rec Committee, with a 1000 donation toward the complex. Doors are installed, groundwork continues, and Hydro service is being installed. The committee plans another bingo fundraiser soon.

The Rossburn Economic Development Committee placed a half page ad in the Toronto Sun promoting low cost living in a Parkland setting. Secretary treasurer Leonard Mackedenski says inquiries from the Toronto area have surged with about 100 calls. A full information package with photos and a community profile is forthcoming to help interested buyers assess residential, commercial and agricultural real estate.

Bike-A-Thon Draws Forty Participants From Skating Club
The Rossburn Figure Skating Club hosted its annual Bike-A-Thon on May 1 with about 40 riders aged four to adults. Riders departed Rossburn Elementary School under RCMP escort and rode to Rossman Lake. Prizes went to youngest Whitney Slon oldest Betty-Ann Slon and most pledges Josh Palaniuk. Participation prizes were awarded to several in age groups 3-8 9-17 and adult. A sponsor prize went to Joe Gulak of Gilbert Plains.

Six health care pilot projects in Westman are under the Westman Integrated Strategy for Health program. The Russell District Hospital leads in patient and home rehabilitation services and will test care delivered near home as part of a six-site pilot funded by the Health Services Development Fund.
