Canada oil substitute program offers grants to switch from oil heating
Canadians urged to quit heating with oil as prices rise, with the COSP offering taxable grants up to 800 dollars covering half the cost to switch to natural gas, electricity, propane or renewables. Grants for multi unit buildings range 1000 to 5500 dollars. Applications through EMR or local utilities with EnerSave insulation aid available.
