Hib Vaccine Added to Immunization Program at No Cost
Mr Orchard announced a Hib meningitis vaccine will be added to regular children’s immunizations at no cost to parents. He noted Hib can cause serious diseases in young children though not the same meningitis outbreak that worried Eastern Canada earlier this year. The new vaccine, meeting safety standards, has been available for some time.

Kelsey Construction of Winnipeg employs about 50 workers on the Waywayseecappo School project set to open Sept. 1.
