Farm Electrification Vision Draws War Veteran Hope

Water setters of the Glba d Met north of Oakburn and farmed there for forty years. He retired five years ago and lived in Oakburn with his wife who predeceased him a few months earlier. Bigger and Better Than Ever Fair and Sports Day Planned

A meeting of the Ressburn Rural Society was held in the Club room to finalize arrangements and appoint committees for the upcoming Fair and Sports Day on Thursday July 26. Horse races athletic events and the Red River Show are promised to attract attendees. Mr A Miller suggested forming a committee to engage Rural Municipal Council Board of Trade and Government to appoint an Agricultural Representative for the district to advance local agriculture.
