Angusville Opens New Main Street In Centennial Ceremony
Angusville unveiled a cairn marking the 1984 centennial during a June 24 ceremony for a Main Street Manitoba Project upgrade. New sidewalks street signs benches and lighting accompany a nearby Municipal Park beside the RM Silver Creek office with MLA Len Derkach and Minister John Bucklaschuk among attendees.

New Director of Nursing Appointed at Rossburn Health Centre
Charlotte Calder became the first Director of Nursing at Rossburn District Health Centre starting May 19. She brings 14 years in nursing and eight years as director, previously head nurse at Russell and District Personal Care Home and a Nurse Clinician at Brandon General Hospital. Calder serves as Vice President of the Westman Region for the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses and cites staffing recruitment and TV stereotypes as current nursing challenges. She praises the facility’s up to date equipment and enjoys being closer to family in Rossburn with her teaching husband and two children.
