Rossburn Senior Hockey Falls Twice in Week
Rossburn senior team lost 9 to 2 at Foxwarren on January 21 and 13 to 5 at Hamiota on January 23. G Lindsay scored twice in the Foxwarren game. Nelson Tanner led Rossburn with four of five goals in the Hamiota loss. Stitt, the goaltender, faced penalties as Leveright served time. The club, missing players, eye upcoming home games versus Hamiota on January 28 and Foxwarren on January 31, plus a January 30 visit to Binscarth.

Monday Storm Halts Mail Run Near Erickson
A severe storm blocked roads near Erickson stopping a Neepawa mail truck Monday night. Tuesday morning crews tried to reach Russell but waited for a Greyhound bus to clear the route. The Sandy Lake road was passable and mail arrived Neepawa around 4 p.m. Tuesday, with the truck returning there that evening twelve hours late.
