United Church Annual Meeting Elects Officers
Knox United Church held its annual Congregational meeting after a Pot Luck Supper on January 16. C A Menzies was reelected Secretary treasurer with Duncanson and G Taylor as superintendent and assistant superintendent. New board members and Sunday School officers were named for three year terms and the SS meeting elected officers. Ferguson presented pictures of the Prairie Christian Training Centre at Qu Appelle Sask.

Funeral January 7 at Mount Pleasant Chapel with interment at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park.

Items approved include adoption of last minutes, constables report, 1956 financials, and a court revision date for February 19 1957 at 8 pm. Tax sale set for March 23 1957 at 2 pm.
