Optimist Club Nominates Police Citizens Youth for 1993 Honors
The Optimist Club of Brandon invites nominations for police officers, citizens and youths honored under the Respect For Law program. Winners will be celebrated at a Brandon dinner with citations plaques and certificates. Police nominees must be RCMP Brandon Police Service or DOTC members and are recognized for duties beyond the call, crime prevention and community service. Citizens and youth are recognized for courage, jury service and cooperation with law enforcement. Nominations are welcome from see Program on page 2.

Rossburn council sets 1994 municipal service rates and by laws
The R M of Rossburn approved 1994 rates for patrol work, snowplowing, and gravel reclaim equipment with GST applied. By laws 1277 1278 1279 and 1280 received readings. A December 12 1994 tax sale date was set and community organizations received support while sick leave and holiday policies were defined.
