The Rossburn United Church held its annual meeting in C A Menzies office with Pastor W B Eaton presiding. Reports show receipts 1158.00 expenditures 1114.80 leaving 44.80. Ladies Aid 20 members receipts 374 expenses 346.35 balance 234.45. Junior Ladies Aid 24 members receipts 366.23 expenditures 211.57 balance 188.21. W M S 20 members 70 allocated to Presbyterial Secretary 12 for Miss Drummond helper. Sunday School 59 members 39 average attendance 157.80 donations to M and M fund balance 90. Two communion services two receptions with 54 new members and 20 baptized. Young People Union and Cub Pack organized. Officers elected include C A Menzies secretary treasure G Taylor S S superintendent, J G Stitt director, etc. Trustee Board members listed plus ushers. Furnace upgrade discussed. Meeting closed with prayer.

Red Cross Bonspiel Set for January 23 24 in Rossburn
The Annual Red Cross Bonspiel will be held at the Rossburn Curling Rink on Monday and Tuesday January 23 and 24. Club members are entered unless they opt out by 6 p.m. Friday January 20. New curlers should sign with convenor Mrs J G Stitt. Entry fee is 50 cents per player and two games are guaranteed per curler with mixed gender teams.
