Angusville Flyers Capture First Prize in Rossburn Tourney
The Angusville Flyers won the annual hockey tournament at Rossburn on December 27 before a large crowd despite cold weather. In the A side final Angusville beat Rossburn 11 to 4 to claim $150 and the trophy, led by Bob Mazur with 3 goals and Garry Sabeski with 2. Earlier, Rossburn defeated Birtle 10-5, and Angusville beat Shoal Lake 6-4 in opening games. Birtle won the B side final 10-3 over Shoal Lake with Morley Butler registering 4 goals.

Tourists eyed on Herod Hall meeting notes
