MPIC funds safety vests for Manitoba school patrols
The Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation commits 40000 to the Manitoba Association of School Trustees for 3000 safety vests and 1000 safety flags. About 7000 school patrols benefit as MPIC notes vests and flags improve visibility at intersections near elementary schools. The grant supports new and replacement vests and first-time flags.
