Obituary William Matthew Geekie of Elphinstone
William Matthew Geekie aged 85 86 died December 14 1966 at Hamiota Hospital after a long life on the Glenforsa home farm Elphinstone district. He wed Grace Black in 1910 and farmed until 1949 serving on municipal council and school board. Funeral December 17 at Elphinstone Presbyterian Church with interment Bend Cemetery Strathclair. Survived by wife Grace son Robert four daughters twelve grandchildren seven great grandchildren two brothers plus many relatives. Honorary pallbearers listed. active pallbearers include grandsons and son-in-law.
