Mrs. Gunn and my classmates thank everyone who sent fruit chocolates juice money and cards during my stay in Rossburn hospital Special thanks to the doctor and nurses and to Mrs Marion Crookshanks for assistance to ward me.
Local items include a Rossburn school visit for parents on Friday March 8 at 2 pm to discuss children welfare, hospital aid meeting at Mrs. Peggy Gunn’s home, and socials plus weekend visits among residents. Ongoing events include a Rossburn Consumers Co op talent hunt on May 24 and a 22nd wedding anniversary celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Brown hosted by C. Palmer.
Mr and Mrs F Shewchuk of Winnipeg visited with Patricia Mackadenski Shirley Belinsky and Bobby Hamilton while several rinks from the area curled in the Oakburne Spiel. Mrs Belinsky and Miss Velma Hamilton also spent time with relatives. Miss Lynn Barlow of Shoal Lake returned home for a few days with her parents.
Sev. Fr. VY. Luchkin will lead Ukrainian Catholic Church services in Rossburn from Wednesday March 27 at 7 p m through Friday evening March 29.
