Chiropractors in Manitoba win 3.5% fee raise agreement
Health Minister Donald W. Orchard announced a one year deal with the Manitoba Chiropractors Association boosting insured treatment fees by 3.5 percent retroactive to April 1 1989. North of the 53 parallel practitioners receive a 10 percent increase with a $11 per treatment fee and a $163.21 annual benefit cap. The pact costs $413000 for 1989 90 and aligns chiropractors with other fee for service professionals.

Council hears concerns over voting rules and mail ballots

Ukrainian College Students Visit St Elias For Vesper And Concert
Students from St Andrew's College at the University of Manitoba will visit Rossburn on Wednesday February 14. They will sing the Evening Vesper at 7:00 p.m. at St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Parish followed by a Ukrainian Variety Concert at 8:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian People's Home. Tickets at the door are 3 dollars for adults, 2 dollars for seniors and students, free for children under 12.
