Farmer Invents Bale Twine Rewinder For Farmers
Roy Budz, a southeast area farmer near Yellowhead Highway, has invented a bale twine rewinder to salvage plastic twine from large round bales. The device winds 100 to 300 feet of twine per bale, with a simple spindle and pulley system and a tension control to prevent tangling. Budz plans to market ten units via Cancade Industries of Brandon at about 300 dollars each, noting significant savings on twine costs over time.
