Auto dealers must honor warranty claims in Manitoba
Minister Al Mackling reminds Manitoba consumers that dealers selling warranties on behalf of a warranty company are responsible for honoring claims. Under the Consumer Protection Act, warranties are between buyer and seller, not buyer and supplier, so the car dealer is the seller and must cover the warranty. Consumers should know deductible costs, coverage, and start date before signing, with further help from the Consumers' Bureau in Winnipeg or toll free.

Village Council Meeting Highlights Rossburn December 15
The Village of Rossburn council met December 15 with Mayor Morley Kostecky presiding. Councillor Shirley Kalyniuk reported kitchen updates at the Community Hall and new floor plans.
