Horses Hit By Hunters Bullets North Of Rossburn Farm
Two horses on the Cave Matus farm north of Rossburn were struck by bullets fired by elk hunters Monday morning. A white colt was shot in the front leg and a sorrel mare suffered a flesh wound to the hind foot. A veterinarian treated the colt and RCMP investigated, highlighting careless hunting as a serious problem.
